Zweck und Ziel der Stelle

We are looking for Strategic Sourcing Manager/Technical Purchase Manager(Marine- Supply chain)  for one of our international customer in Uetersen. 

Aufgaben, Kompetenzen und Verantwortung

Initiate and implement category sourcing strategies at supplier level, which aligned with business development direction, DtC, and engineering requirements.

Search for, identify, develop and maintain the supplier base according to sourcing strategies.

Provide market intelligence by analysing and evaluating markets and supplier trends within the categories. Target sourcing is based on best practice ‘intelligence' and information.

Ensure category strategy implementation through contract negotiations and supplier development.

Manage assigned partners, productivity and cost development actions.

Support and regularly follow up the Design to Cost (DtC) actions as well as preferred suppliers involvement.

Define, report and reach targets for Quality, Delivery, Cost, Innovation(QDCI) in the categories.

Collect and issue price / cost information for own site Sales Organization.



Fachliche Anforderungen

  1. At least 5 years of Strategic Sourcing and Supply Management in global environment, preferably in relevant categorie.
  2. Full understanding of cost breakdowns and drivers in assigned categories.
  3. Knowledge of Marine  products and supplier base preferred.
  4. Knowledge of Strategy implementation and monitoring.
  5. Experience in working with global and cross-cultural teams.
  6. Budget and business plan implementation and follow-up.
  7. Experience with Category Strategy development and implementation.
